IT WAS A FAIL

That day the drummers took their drums,
The dancers all raved up
With beads swinging to a dangerous turn
To what was a common end,
It was a wedding
With marriage valued, she wasn't ready
She was hard
She listened to the music, her ears grew dim
She lost interest and the music was distant and sad
The groom had forgotten the adornments
He wasn't ready, he couldn't take the bride
And the wedding dress was torn
A perfect excuse; the wedding was a fail
Everyone was angry
However, she kept her mother's waist cloth
She never wanted another groom
Another series of negotiation
She was done
